We’re loving this series titled Over Time by Jonathan Zawada. The series consist of oil paintings of landscapes in bold and abstract colours. The landscape topographies were derived from graph data, modeled in 3D and then oil paintings created from those 3D renders. Who would ever think to make art out of graph data?!?

L’Usine: When was CoLab formed?
Carl Tindall: CoLab is the delinquent love child of Peter Smith and Ian Hoole. These two veterans all things optical and sunglass were sick to the optic nerve of seeing labels copying and rehashing season after season.
So in 2007 they went hunting… creativity hunting. What they found was a backwater of artistic genius from all over the globe keen to participate in a new medium (i.e. rad shades). From these beginnings we have grown into an internationally recognized creative outlet for street artists, graphic designers, musicians and more.
To quote Geoff McFetridge “It’s weird in here”.
