Thank you all who came out to support Bunny Wonderland . The exhibition space has been transformed to an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ esque theme by our favourite and resident artist Tammy Nguyen. Many red bunnies were named and adopted for a very good cause — Thien An Orphanage. Bunny Mr. T and Bunny Mary Jane were amongst the adopted bunnies with the most creative names. I named my bunny Alice as i thought it was quite suitable.

‘ …the work is about perfection as we are aware of it in our minds but the paintings are
very far from being perfect – completely removed in fact – even as we ourselves are.’
- Agnes Martin
Each work begins with an objective. This objective is open because it is influenced by
material, ability, estimation, mood, time, strength and concentration. There is an
enjoyment and fascination in the work unfolding and revealing itself. Everything is

PRESS RELEASE
Solo exhibition by Tammy Nguyen. Organized by San Art for L’usine.
On Monday, October 18, at 6pm, San Art will open ‘My Diary from that Battle of 10,000 Ships’, a solo exhibition by Ho Chi Minh City based Vietnamese artist, Tammy Nguyen.
Hosted by L’usine and composed of a series of installations that incorporate drawing, painting and embroidery, this will be the artist’s second solo exhibition in Vietnam.
Working with paper and silk, between thread-work and ink, Tammy Nguyen opens a window upon a battle at sea. Ships of ink travel across large pieces of paper accompanied by figures reminiscent of calligraphic pictograms. These warriors rage across an ocean, losing limbs, skin and bone.
